30th June 2008: Pegasus Finance and Land has prepared a new 15-second TV ad for our Trade Winds apartment project in Airlie Beach.

Despite the problems in world financial markets caused by the US sub-prime meltdown, property prices at Airlie Beach have continued to show strong appreciation over the last year. And this trend seems unlikely to alter.

Tradewinds Architectural Models Now Available For Inspection
18th July 2007: Pegasus Finance and Land are very pleased to announce that a detailed 1:200 architectural model of our new Tradewinds apartment project at Airlie Beach is now available for inspection.

Reaction to the Tradewinds project has been very favourable ever since we unveiled it in May 2007. But buyers have repeatedly asked if we might also prepare a model of the project (as well as floor plans and artist's impressions) to help them better visualise what the finished development will look like.

We're very happy to oblige! Interested potential purchasers can now inspect the Tradewinds model first-hand at our Sydney head office.

Oasis Gardens Recreational Centre Plans Now Being Drawn Up
18th June 2007: Development of our new Oasis Estate at Kingaroy has been proceeding steadily over the last 8 weeks, with the erection of overhead street lighting and the construction of the Estate's main entrance gateway both being put in place.

Pegasus Finance & Land's management, meanwhile, has been reviewing proposed designs for the Estate's combined child care centre, recreation area and retail shopping centre in conjunction with our architects and officers from Kingaroy Shire Council's planning department.

While the final design has yet to be ratified, the one that's drawn the most positive reaction is a striking Australian modern contempory look along the lines of the sketch shown above right. Final design approval is expected in August or September 2007.

Work On
Kingaroy Oasis Estate
Surging Ahead

16th April 2007: Work on Pegasus Finance & Land's Oasis Estate at Kingaroy in the South Burnett region of Queensland is surging ahead, with all the essential infrastructure for Stage 1 of this exciting residential development project now in place.

Over the last 8 weeks Pegasus have invested more than $1 million in laying out underground water, sewerage and power lines through the Stage 1 area, as well as sealing and kerbing the main access roads into this part of the Estate.

In the next part of our work, lots will be pegged in preparation for builders to begin construction of the Kingaroy Street streetscape along with the Estate's front wall and entrance. In the meantime, we're evaluating architectural designs for Oasis Estate's ultra-modern combined child care centre, retail zone and recreational area (expect more news on this soon!).

Whitsunday Tourism Numbers Just Keep On Growing
17th March 2007: Visitor numbers to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays rose by 14% in the year ended 30 June 2006, Tourism Queensland announced today - and room occupancy rates in the area rose by 13% to match it.

The figures are contained in the latest Whitsunday Snapshot, which is prepared by Tourism Queensland's research department using data collected from a range of local tourism and accommodation operators.

Overall, the report shows that Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays continued to experience rapid growth in tourist numbers from both the domestic and international markets. The report also found that just under half of all visitors (49%) chose to stay at a resort, hotel or motel - good news for investors in Pegasus Finance & Land's Crystaline Shores resort project!

Work Begins On Oasis Estate Development In Kingaroy
18th February 2007: Work began today on our company's Oasis Estate development in Kingaroy. This new estate is quite possibly the largest single development ever approved by Kingaroy Shire Council and is expected to increase the town's population by at least 5% when it's fully populated.

The estate comprises 195 residential lots and 77 light industrial/commercial lots. Oasis Estate residents will also get to enjoy modern shared amenity areas and a standard of development not seen in the South Burnett region (but becoming steadily more common in capital cities and highly ubanised areas of the nation).

The first 50 lots in the estate are also being released for sale today. 33 of these lots were pre-sold to keen investors before construction started, so only 17 remain. But with prices roughly half the price of comparable properties in nearby Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, these are expected to sell quickly
