8 Pimpinbudgee Road is approx 20 to 25 minutes drive south of Kingaroy. It's just off a main connecting route of the New England Highway between Toowoomba and Kingaroy.

Kingaroy is an absolute boom town with approximately 10,000 residents and boasts a Woolworths, Foodstore and IGA supermarkets; a Harvey Norman store; a Target store; a Mitre 10 and many other national retail chains, along with MacDonalds, Red Rooster, KFC, Eagle Boys and Dominos Pizza. There are also two primary schools, a high school and a TAFE College.

The land is easy to build on as the enclosed photos will show you. The Council won't allow 5 acre developments in this district any more, so the farming area around it will - we believe - remain as it is.

However, there's been an enormous change in the area with the introduction of the Kunioon Mine (which is a coal mine supplying coal to the Tarong Power Station).

The new mine is going to provide 750 jobs for 2 years while it's under construction and then 500 jobs for the next 20 to 30 years. This is producing a flow-on effect to the area and a high demand for residential property nearby will follow.

In addition, AGL (a large energy company) has also just bought the rights to build a wind farm on the slopes of the Bunya Mountains just 30 minutes drive from Pimpinbudgee Road.

The lot has power and phone connected, a tar-sealed road, and also has a dam built on it. And we're prepared to assist clients to inspect from Brisbane or Sydney on the weekend (normally a Sunday).

Finance is available through a bank on 30% deposit and a repayment of approximately $150 per week. However if you pay cash a 5% discount would come off the purchase price for a 21 day settlement.
